Terms of Service · Updated September 2026

Short-term inboxes have limits—and independent addresses come with responsibilities

Using Msgforward means you agree to the rules below. A temporary inbox is not a permanent archive, and forwarding does not guarantee delivery of every third-party email. Choose an address that matches the importance of your account.

Service overview

Short-lived web inboxes, independent forwarding addresses, records from the past month, and optional security settings.

Your responsibilities

Protect access tokens and verification codes, and make sure you are authorized to handle the addresses and content you receive.

Availability limits

Sending platforms may reject temporary domains, while networks and filters can cause delays or failures.

Enforcement

If we detect abuse, we may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access and retain necessary security evidence.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the service, you confirm that you are legally able to agree to these terms and will comply with applicable law. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

If you do not agree, stop using the service. Our Privacy Policy explains how data is processed and applies together with these terms.

2. Service description

Temporary email provides time-limited addresses and web inbox access. Forwarding provides independent addresses, delivery records, and security settings. Capacity, lifetime, retention, and features may change as security or operational needs require.

The service is not a telecommunications provider, permanent storage system, or disaster-recovery product. Countdown timers and status indicators help you make decisions but do not promise perpetual availability.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be old enough under the laws where you live to agree to online service terms and provide a receiving email address you are authorized to use. An email verification code confirms current access to the inbox; it does not verify your real-world identity.

You must protect verification codes, browser tokens, and authenticator keys. Actions initiated with valid credentials will generally be treated as actions of the account holder.

4. Temporary email use

Temporary addresses are suitable for short-term, low-risk tasks. Do not use them for financial, medical, government, asset-related, or long-term work accounts. Once an address expires, we do not guarantee recovery of messages, tokens, or the original address.

Some websites reject temporary domains or delay delivery; this is a third-party policy. Before registering, decide whether the account may need to be recovered later.

5. Forwarding address use

An independent address forwards incoming mail to a verified receiving mailbox. You can pause, resume, or delete it independently. Messages that arrive while forwarding is paused may be discarded and will not be resent automatically when it resumes.

You are responsible for keeping the destination mailbox able to receive mail and checking its spam rules. The sender’s server, destination mailbox, and network filters can all affect final delivery.

6. Content and attachments

Email content is sent by third parties. We do not endorse, control, or guarantee their statements, links, or attachments. Independently verify the sender’s identity before downloading, replying, making a payment, or providing information.

You retain rights to your content and grant us a limited license to process it as needed to receive, display, filter, forward, and troubleshoot the service. This license does not allow us to use message bodies for independent advertising profiles.

7. Prohibited abuse

You may not use the service for unlawful activity, fraud, harassment, spam, mass registration, evading bans, or intellectual-property infringement. Do not attempt to access another person’s inbox, guess tokens, or circumvent access controls.

Automated access must use reasonable request rates and respect the limits of public interfaces. Conduct that causes abnormal load, scans for vulnerabilities, or interferes with other users may be restricted immediately.

8. Monitoring and enforcement

To maintain security and availability, we may use rate limiting, spam detection, malicious-content filtering, and anomaly detection. If we reasonably suspect a violation, we may suspend the relevant address, account, or network access.

We are not required to proactively review every email. When we receive a valid legal request or rights complaint, we will assess it and act according to applicable procedures.

9. Third-party services

Email delivery depends on sender servers, domain systems, networks, hosting, and destination mailbox providers. Third-party outages, policy changes, or refusals may cause delays, loss, or limited functionality.

External links in emails are managed by third parties and are subject to their terms and privacy policies after you visit them. Msgforward is not responsible for third-party products, content, or conduct.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free service or fitness for a particular purpose. Maintenance, security incidents, force majeure, and infrastructure failures may cause temporary outages.

We may add, change, or discontinue features and update quotas and retention limits when reasonably necessary. Material changes will update the date; continued use means you accept the revised version.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as-is and as available, without express or implied warranties. Keep independent copies of important emails and take responsibility for choosing the right address.

To the extent permitted by law, we limit liability for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including harm caused by undelivered email, unrecoverable accounts, or third-party content. This section does not limit liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Termination, disputes, and contact

You may delete an address and stop using the service. We may suspend or terminate the service for violations, security risks, or legal requirements. After termination, provisions concerning content rights, liability limits, and disputes remain effective as necessary.

Disputes should first be submitted to support@msgforward.com for an amicable resolution and are subject to mandatory legal rules in the jurisdiction where the operator is based. Any invalid provision that does not affect the rest of these terms will be interpreted as closely as possible to its original intent.
